The Rob Dyrdek/DC Shoes Skate Plaza in Kettering, Ohio opened months ago, and skateboarders still swarm to this new skate Mecca.
Rob Dyrdek, DC Photographer, Mike Blabac and DC Films, Kirk Dianda recently headed out to the Plaza to grab some additional footage. What they encountered amazed even Rob.
"I tried to skate one evening to get a shot and it was thick with nearly 200 skaters. The place was insane, but it's great to see that the plaza is getting this kind of response," said Rob Dyrdek, professional skateboarder, founder and namesake of the Rob Dyrdek/DC Shoes Skate Plaza Foundation.
According to local sources, the Plaza has been packed daily with skateboarders riding from dawn till dusk. Skateboarders have shown up from all over, Canada, Pennsylvania, New York, Kansas, Michigan, Virginia, Texas, Georgia and Tennessee and further spots from around the globe.
